Visit Mandurah and the City of Mandurah took home three awards at the 2022 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards on Saturday, November 5.
The teams celebrated podium finishes in the Visitor Information Services, Excellence in Local Government and Tourism Marketing and Campaigns categories.
The Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards recognise businesses, individuals and destinations for their commitment to excellence, providing a platform to review achievements and innovation, and an opportunity to raise their profile among the industry and consumers.
The Mandurah Visitor Centre was awarded Gold in the Visitor Information Services category, and the City of Mandurah was presented with Silver in the Excellence in Local Government category, recognising the City’s increasingly strategic focus to attracting more visitors. Visit Mandurah also took home Bronze in the Tourism Marketing and Campaigns category for the ‘Relaxed by Nature’ campaign.
These accolades follow Mandurah's recognition at WA's Top Tourism Town, and Australia's third-top Tourism Town, earlier this year, acknowledgement of the city’s position as a much-loved tourism destination.
